Senior Technical Consultant
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)/Hybrid Enterprise

Your responsibilities:
As part of an enthusiastic and professional team, working for our customers in the Financial and Public sector, you will:
• Work in a pre- and post-sales customer-facing consulting position;
• Work in complex, mission critical environments of our customers;
• Use the Unisys methodology and assessment tools to analyse the current state and translate our customers' business needs into technical requirements;
• Design, develop and deliver VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)/WaaS (Workplace as a Service) solutions for our customers to optimize their IT infrastructure;
• Provide product roadmaps and deliver technical presentations to customers; interact with customers on technical aspects;
• Collaborate with vendor partners and customers to resolve technical issues;
• Work closely together with your colleagues of our Data Center Transformation and Security practices;
• Provide software specifications for tools that need to be developed;
• Manage a small team of Developers.

Your skills and experience:
• You have a Master degree in Information Technology or equivalent through relevant experience;
• You can prove a solid working experience in virtualization projects and in migration of workstations;
• You are capable of elaborating a migration strategy, you have a clear vision on how to approach this;
• You have a sound understanding of virtualization techniques (Citrix, VMWare, Hyper-V, …) and Cloud technologies;
• You have a good knowledge of Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 7
Operating Systems;

• You have an understanding of Networking, Firewall, IPS, IDS and knowledge of Storage systems; you have a good comprehension of network integration in secure environment;
• You have a good knowledge of Active Directory. You are familiar with Global and Local groups, ACL's and SID history. Experience with migration or integration of AD forests is an asset;
• You have a good knowledge of Domain Names Services (DNS);
• Comprehension of software development process and tools is an asset;
• Experience with assessment tools (NextThink) is an asset;
• You have strong analytical skills, you are creative and have a problem-solving attitude;
• You act as an outstanding team-player and can work independently;
• You have excellent presentation and communication skills, an outstanding customer-oriented attitude, are service-minded and result-driven;
• You are fluent in both Dutch and French and have a good command of English;
• You are in the possession of a driving license B;
• This position may require some short travels within Europe.
