Senior Technical Architect - 1 Year Contract - Venaria (Torino)

Contract Position
Location: Venaria, Italy

Cognizant's Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions Practice (EMS) requires a Software Architect for a position in Italy. EMS is the strategic unit of Cognizant focusing on Embedded Automotive, Consumer and Communication Electronics Domain.

The Software Architect will take responsibility for creating system requirements and mapping them to SW components using UML Modelling tools. Direct interface with the client for day to day activities will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

To assume customer and internal technical communication
To manage project deliveries
Manage the project requirement using the DOORS tool
Participate & contribute to SW architecture definition identifying the SW components for the relevant application also using UML modelling
Create the System Requirements and their mapping on the SW components
Participate to ISO26262 requirement analysis
Coordinate analysis of the Change Requests
Evaluate with project team risk and planning impact for each Change Request
Support validation team during test plan definition
Support development team during code reviews

Key Skills & Experience:

Deep understanding of Embedded Automotive domain (Automotive Electronics: infotainment/Telematics)
Knowledge in system design and analysis.
Should have leadership skills to lead people and people management as well as customer management skills.
Exposure to requirements management (DOORS tool).
Experience of Embedded Real Time electronic product development with high level of SW contents
UML modelling

Short term travels to different geographies may be involved.

L'unita' Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions Practice (EMS) di Cognizant ha un'opportunita' al proprio interno per un Architetto Software a tempo determinato nella zona di Venaria (TO). EMS e' l'unita' strategica di Cognizant che si occupa di Embedded Automotive, Consumer and Communication Electronics.
L'Architetto Software sara' responsabile di creare requisiti di sistema e mapparli alle componenti software tramite l'uso di techniche UML. L'Architetto software sara' anche responsabile di interagire e communicare con il cliente in maniera credibile e regolare.

Responsabilita' principali:

Gestire la comunicazione con il cliente e quella piu' strettamente technica con i colleghi
Raggiungere gli obiettivi del progetto nel rispetto delle scadenze stipulate
Gestire il progetto utilizzando tecniche DOORS
Creare e contribuire alla definizione dell'architettura del software tramite l'dentificazione delle componenti software necessarie all'aplicazione tramite l'uso di modelli UML.
Creare requisiti di sistema e correlarli alle relative componenti software
Partecipare all'analisi dei requisiti ISO26262
Coordinare l'analisi delle Change requests
Valutare eventuali rischi in collaborazione con il resto dei colleghi impegnati nel progetto e prevedere il relativo impatto per ogni Change Requests
Collaborare con i colleghi durante la fase di definizione del test plan
Collaborare con gli sviluppatori durante la fase di code review

Competenze essenziali e esperienza:

Competenza nel settore di Embedded Automotive (Automotive Electronics: infotainment/Telematics)
Comprensione del disegno technico e della relativa analisi
Capacita' di espletare funzioni di management e capacita' di interagire in maniera credibile con il cliente
Conoscenza delle techniche di gestione dei requisiti di sistema (techniche DOORS)
Conoscenza di modelli UML
Disponibilita' a viaggiare

B.S/M.S. in Engineering
Laurea o master in Informatica
