Responsible for the accurate preparation and timely filing of federal corporate income tax compliance matters as assigned. Researches and analyzes technical issues for planning and responding to government audits as directed by Tax Department management.

SKILLS:

Good working knowledge of FAS109 to assist in the preparation and presentation of accounting for income taxes. Typically, four to eight years of experience in the field of federal taxation are required. Must demonstrate effective analytical and communications skills due to the technical nature of tax laws. Working knowledge of accounting theory required to ascertain potential tax ramifications of complex business transactions.
