We re looking for an infrastructure professional to provide systems critical engineering functions for a leading company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide advanced troubleshooting of critical end-to-end components that comprise the Virtualization Infrastructure
- Work Servers through installation workflow to meet Service Level Agreements
- Build out server infrastructure per application requirements and build scripts
- Manage change management through internal systems
- Willingness to work in a high-volume and mission critical system support
- Effectively collaborate with engineering, architecture, application development, requirements group, QA, testing and PMO teams
- Work with Audit Compliance teams to install and maintain security updates and patches
- Manage trouble and request queues ensuring timely resolution
- Daily justification of audit events via multiple tracking systems
- Monitor status of critical system services reporting performance and server health
- Develop mutually beneficial working relationships with clients

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Knowledge in Operating Systems RHEL, Windows Platforms
- Extensive experience in VMware vSphere 5.0+ technologies (eg PowerCLI, VCenter Heartbeat, vMA)
- Experience on Windows Server Administration required
- Extensive experience in VMware Site Recovery Manager
- Knowledge of stretch clusters
- Good understanding of Network topology concepts like LAN/WAN, sub netting and TCP/IP protocol and utilities required
- Extensive knowledge of HP server hardware and blades Servers, tape libraries, along with hardware troubleshooting, server monitoring and server management required
- Good analytical and project management skills required
- Strong experience with HA concepts, clustering technologies and failover architectures
- Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server technologies
- Experience in Server Virtualization and understanding of Virtualization Technologies
- Some experience on VMware ESX Servers
- Experience in Backup and Recovery of Virtual Machines
- Good understanding of Storage Technologies and SAN (Storage Area Network) Concepts, like, HBA, RAID, Zoning, Masking and/or any other
- Some experience on Linux
- Ability to troubleshoot in a Microsoft Windows Server environment
