Senior Systems Infrastructure and Network Engineer

We are working with a highly sought government organisation to source a Systems Infrastructure and Network Engineer.

This is a contract role from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.

DUTIES:

- Systems infrastructure and network engineering including requirements analysis, systems engineering, architecture, specification, design, design disclosure, development, testing, production, acceptance, quality assurance and documentation of complex systems.
- Adherence to Work Health and Safety regulations (the WHS Act 2011), including relevant training to the WHS Act 2011
- Project management, upkeep of projects within the project management software, project support and administration duties as directed.
- Provision of general and specialist advise on ICT infrastructure and networks, ICT current and future technology, software systems and system security.
- Support and adhere to the principles of PRINCE2:2009 and systems engineering project methodologies. Actively participate and seek to raise the engineering capability maturity of teams with respect to project management processes and continuous improvement
- Preparation of reports and documentation. Delivery of briefings and presentations as directed. Conduct necessary liaison with clients, service providers and project managers.
