Senior Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer required with experience of delivering complex systems coupled with an understanding, or demonstrable ability, to apply their expertise to the land platform domain. They will have experience of interfacing with the customer and understanding system requirements.

Typical activities will include:
Provision of strong Systems Engineering input.
Design development.
System Behaviour.
Requirements Management, System and Sub-System compliance.
Use Cases, sequence diagrams, constraints etc. using SysML.
Validation of Subsystem design against requirements.
Interface management.
Collection and analysis of system metrics.
Change management - causes for changes in System, Schedulefinding causes & developing balanced solutions.
Baseline management.
Delivery of written reports Schedule monitoring and reporting.
System Risk and Opportunity reporting.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Applied knowledge & understanding of complex projects.
Substantial system design and development of complex hardware and software systems.
Application of formal System Engineering analysis processes.
Expertise in use of SysML or UML modelling tools (eg IBM Rational Rhapsody).
Expertise in use of Requirement Management tools (eg DOORS).
Proven experience in working collaboratively across multiple product development and specialist domain teams.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
