Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer required to provide full life cycle Systems Engineering support to a major programme across the following areas:

Analysing customer requirements and developing a design concept and compliance matrices.
System schedule planning, monitoring and reporting.
System Risk and Opportunity management System cost estimation, monitoring and reporting
Delivery of written proposals.

Subsequently, provision of strong Systems Engineering input, across the following areas:

Use Cases and SysML sequence diagrams.
Model System Constraints using SysML constraints and parametric diagrams.
Derive Subsystem Requirements and Interface Requirements.
Collection and analysis of system metrics.
Challenging and finding causes for changes in system schedule & costs.
Verification of solutions through traceability Matrix and test documentation.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:

Substantial System design and development of complex hardware and software systems.
Application of System Engineering analysis processes.
Expertise in use of SysML or UML modelling tools (eg IBM Rational Rhapsody).
Expertise in use of Requirement Management tools (DOORS).
Proven experience in working collaboratively across multiple product development and specialist domain teams.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
