KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Gather and analyze requirements from development teams to design, deploy and support of various enterprise Middleware technologies.
- Provide technology leadership in ConnectDirect, DataPower, Layer 7, WebSphere Application Server, MQ, WebSphere Message Broker.
- Architect, integrate and configure applications to fully utilize the above technologies as well as Datapower, and other Middleware technologies.
- Provide level 3 (engineering) production support for integration solutions in production environments
- Lead problem resolution and improvement efforts
- Drive constant interaction with developers, architects, and project managers.
- Enhance Middleware and Integration operating procedures and engineering patterns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Web Services Proxy and Multiprotocol Gateway
- Must have hands on experience with Security policy within DataPower
- Must have knowledge of DataPower auditing and troubleshooting framework
- Experience with migrating Application specific objects, proxies and other objects between environments
- Experience with automated deployments strategies with DP
- Must have experience with version control and build management of datapower objects
- Must have experience in installing the new devices and creating the network interfaces.
- Must have knowledge of the SOMA interface
- Must have prior knowledge of UDDI registry (preferably WSRR)
- Must have extended knowledge of Web Services development knowledge
- Must have extended experience with XSLT and Stylesheet development within DP
- Experience with development and/or administration in other WebSphere products (MQ, MessageBroker etc) a plus
- DP integration experience with Splunk for logging and monitoring is a plus

DESIRED BACKGROUND:

- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
- Expectation is the candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work well in a team, collaborating with developers, customers, project managers and requirements analysts.
- Strong working knowledge/experience in designing, implementing and supporting DataPower XI50/XI52 solutions are required (including design and development of MPGs, WSPs and XML Firewalls with experience in support, troubleshooting and tuning)
- Strong knowledge in any-to-any message transformation with advanced level of understanding/experience in XSLT is required.
- Experience in the analysis, architecture, documentation and promotion of messaging infrastructure solutions including the use of SOA solutions is desired (with emphasis on SOAP over HTTP and REST/JSON message transportation protocols)
- Strong working knowledge/experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, DTD and Namespaces required
- Strong working knowledge/experience with SOA (Web Services, WSDL and SOAP) in J2EE and .NET implementations are required.
