Senior Systems Architect - .Net, SQL Server - Federal Government

Our client is a high profile Federal Government agency located in BRISBANE. The department is looking for a SENIOR SYSTEMS ARCHITECT to provide an initial and independent assessment of the business requirements and new work associated with an internal system and make recommendations of valid architecture approaches. This is an initial 4 week contract with the view to extend a further 4 weeks.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

- Review current production system architecture.
- Review business requirements
- Provide recommendations on implementation approaches and impacts delivery timelines and cost

TO BE A SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

- Previous experience as a Systems Architect in a large scale environment
- Demonstrated experience with SQL Server and .NET
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate persuasively and communicate complex concepts in a clear way
- Proven ability to deliver effective outcomes in tight timeframes
- Provide leadership in the principles of enterprise architecture
