Senior Systems Analyst (Contract)

Location: Dublin
Duration: 6 months
Salary: €350-€400 DOE

This multinational institution is one of the largest financial services groups worldwide and the technology projects they are working on at the moment are cutting edge and require someone with an innovative approach who likes working in a collaborative environment.

The type of person they are looking for is a talented Senior Systems Analyst with a strong track record in understanding the needs and requirements of an organisation and being able to prioritise each phase of the project. The successful candidate will be joining a distributed team between the US and Dublin, primarily working between business end users and systems development areas. Successful candidates must have experience with and working knowledge of systems methodologies, software development life cycle, business acceptance testing and the operations/product area supported, agile experience a plus

Responsibilities:

*Working with Product/project management and Service Delivery to understand the product/service vision, concepts and scope, both at a tactical and strategic level.
*Collaborating with both technical and business partners
*Understanding and prioritising requirements
*Work cross-functionally to support development of innovative new technologies as a key member of an agile team also consisting of Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Testers.
*Analyse and translate business requirements into product and system level requirements and document them accurately.
*Working closely with business partners and tech teams to define, coordinate and execute UAT

Qualifications/Experience:

*Bachelor's degree in computer related field.
*5+ years' experience as a business/systems analyst preferably involving software development technologies
*Strong technically
*Experience working with distributed teams
*Agile experience and experience with tools such as JIRA
*Highly motivated with strong willingness to take ownership/responsibility for their work
*Very strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skill, analytical thinker, ability to see the big picture and focus on details, strong work ethic and fantastic customer service attitude
*Broad application/technology knowledge (ie SQL, Use case writing, business process and systems workflow documentation)
*Experience working with technology and business partners across multiple locations
