For our client location on South Limburg, a vacancy has arisen for a Senior Systems Administrator.

Immediate start until the end of 2013.

The IT department currently has 10 people, who together are responsible for all IT in the company. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you and your fellow Administrators will be responsible for maintaining and managing a high quality environment. You will ensure the quality and progress of the systems are well managed.

Job responsibilities for the Senior Systems Administrator:

* Install, maintain and manage system software, hardware and peripherals and devices
* Ensure quality and progress of the managed systems and adapt to the new requirements by the organization
* Troubleshooting and performing repair of limited size/complexity
* Management and technical support various departmental applications
* Accurate and independent/planned work.
* Willing to stand on a rotational basis shifts.

Senior Systems Administrator - Job requirements:

* Minimum HBO thinking and working level experience (subject-oriented).
* Windows 2003.2008
* Experience with Delta-V, possibly Provox: experience in the process industry
* Experience with VMware ESX and 2003.
* Knowledge of and experience with beher IP Networks (installation) available network hardware and software, network applications, relevant operating systems (windows).
* Knowledge and experience in optical networks is a plus.
