Senior System Engineer Vmware

On behalf of our client, an international leading pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are currently seeking an experienced SYSTEM ENGINEER PHARMA. The position will be in Basel and is a full time contract position, starting ASAP until the end of the year with option to extend.

In this challenging role you will be part of an international team and you will mainly be responsible for the internal server infrastructure and virtual environment. This includes design and implementation of new solutions as well as migration projects. Providing technical support and writing documentation will also be part of your work.

For this interesting position you should meet the following requirements:

- Extensive experience in System Engineering on Windows and/or Linux
- Experience in System administration
- Strong knowledge of VMWare ESX
- Experience in Scripting (PowerShell, VBScript)
- Experience in the international pharmaceutical environment will be a big plus
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Available within short notice
