Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER to join one of our international clients for a position in BRUSSELS, BELGIUM of 3 MONTHS with option of extension.
THE TASK
Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER who will be part of the team of that will monitor and improve the Management Information System.
SOME OF YOUR KEY ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructurerelated to a service
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Ad hoc requests
OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR YOU TO HAVE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS IN:
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS
- Active Directory
- SCCM is a must!
- LDAP
- CITRIX
- Experience or certifications in Virtualisation Technologies
- SCOM
- Experience with Packaging/Scripting Technologies & Tools
- Scripting languages Experience
- Excellent Problem solving skills
- Capable of handling multiple project assignments independently
- Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
- Being a security-minded individual and able to responsibly use administrative access
