Senior System Engineer
We offer:
. An interesting and responsible position within the team "WebService/RESTful and CORBA" which provides the global Web Service Infrastructure for international applications and the CORBA infrastructure in Switzerland
. Responsibility for the maintenance and enhancement of one of the biggest CORBA installation in Switzerland
. Analysis, validation and implementation of customer requirements in coordination with the team
. Responsibility to engineer, design and implement new requirements for the globally Web Services infrastructure which enables the standardized synchronous communication over SOAP for our globally distributed applications as well as writing test plans and creating Unit tests
. Enable the existing infrastructure to support RESTful services will be one of the main requirements
. Writing specifications, do the engineering, design and implementation of new requirements
. Creating test cases and setting up a test environment for RESTful services
You offer:
. Graduate degree or higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
. A minimum of 5 years working experience with Java/JEE, Design-Patterns, XML/XML Schema, JSF, C/C++ and Shell (Unix)
. Fundamental skills in the Middleware area with the technologies CORBA, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL) and RESTful
. Experience in the platforms Windows, Solaris and Linux (Redhat)
. Profund knowledge in the products Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Service Bus 10g and 11g
. Good knowledge with database (SQL, Oracle, Hibernate)
. Skills in configuring SSL and 2 way SSL
. Good analytical, conceptual and coordination skills as well as strong team player skills
. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
. Fluency in English, German as an advantage
