Senior Sybase DBA

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Senior Sybase DBA. For this contract position based in the heart of Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Technical management
- Coordination of issues and projects
- Administration tasks of SQL Server and Sybase databases
- DBA support for development teams
- Recommendations for new projects

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- 3+ years experience of:

Sybase ASE database
Sybase Replication Server administration
MS SQL Server 2005/2008
- Knowledge of:

UNIX and Linux operating system
Good SQL
Basic Scripting language (Perl, Shell)
Sybase Replication Server
