One of our clients, an international company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager

Mission Description:

The function would start as part of the local transport team as the Transportation Compliance Specialist.
We are looking for an experienced coordinator who will take care of customs, trade and transport logistics operations in order to improve quality and decrease cost.
Thanks to this mission, all processes will be in compliance with legal instructions and law.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the logistics activities for the manufacturing site.
- Ensure full legal compliance in local supply chain processes. Have ownership on all trade compliance related licenses.
- Provide direction and advice to the logistics team regarding non-routine/complex operational issues.
- Analysis & follow up on Supply Chain reporting.
- Roll out improvement projects in logistics & trade compliance ( AEO certification, Known consignor status, Drugs precursor )
- Coordinate the management of the import and export processes
- Manage the customs-related licenses and registrations (software, governmental, chamber of commerce)
- Maintain internal contacts like GDL (global distributions & logistics) organization and external contacts like Ministry and Customs authorities, Forwarders and Logistics Services companies.
- Drive and coordinate improvements in all aspects of the transport and customs processes in order to eliminate non-value added activities and quality inhibitors- Implement and follow up concepts/projects eg A.E.O, Known consigner, document retention,
- Coach the team to become spokesperson in case of audits for all transport related issues
- Create, maintain and audit Transport procedures & instructions

Required skills:

- Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain or Logistic Management
- English/French are a must
- 10 years of experience in transport and logistics
- 5 years in customs relations in an international company
- Profound Trade Compliance Knowledge (Incoterms, customs, insurances, taric code )
- Expert on transport regulations such as GDP, IATA,AEO
