Senior Subsea Project Engineer, Contract, Aberdeenshire

I have a new requirement for one Subsea Construction Engineer and one Senior Subsea Construction Engineer for an Aberdeenbased company. The roles will last for 12 months+ and offer good day rates. The company offer flexible working hours (early starts or 4 day weeks) in order to attract candidates in such a competitive marketplace.

Minimum Competencies / Knowledge Required:

3-5 years' experience in Subsea, Oil & Gas
Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
Previous subsea construction experience in a similar Technical or Project Engineering roles

Typical tasks and duties include

-To provide engineering and technical assistance within the Project/Operations department and also to provide support to the Tendering, Business Development and Quality departments as and when required.
-Main Point of contact for the client and interfacing contractors at the pre-construction phase and throughout the life of the installation works, ensuring that all technical interface issues are raised and dealt with.
-Maintaining adequate liaison with the Barge/Vessel Operations Manager to ensure that all relevant vessel/project technical interfaces are addressed.
-Generation of Diving Procedures related to offshore works within IRM & Subsea Construction.
-Capable of running a "Shift" on-board DSV, including generation of dive plans, engineering reports and client interfacing.
-Ability to generate and implement mobilisation plans, lift plans and deck plans.
