Senior Structural Engineer - Norway - 12 Months - Urgent
My oil and gas client are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work in Norway. This is a position based in several places (Stavanger & Tromsø) in Norway, with all travel in Norway between work sites paid for by the client.
Responsibilities:
* Structural representative in multidiscipline project
* Participation in the Creative Solution selection, design and concept
* Preparation of work documentation for fabrication and installation
* Time Estimation and material lists
* Close collaboration with other disciplines, project management and offshore
* Use of MS Office software
* Use of analysis Staad Pro, SAP 2000, Sesam, Mathcad.
* Short offshore inspections
* Training and coordination of junior staff
* Discipline Leader Role as desired by appropriate qualifications
Qualifications:
* At least 7 years relevant industry experience
* Good theoretical understanding of statics and metalware
* Practical and solution
* Creative, proactive and positive attitude
* Master or Bachelor's degree in structural engineering
* Can speak fluent English (Norwegian HIGHLY beneficial)
