Senior Structural Engineer

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to work for a major Oil & Gas company in Aberdeen

Our client are a large independent consultancy that work within the energy sector. They have a requirement for a Senior Structural Engineer to work within their engineering group.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will carry out:

- Structural lead on major offshore projects
- Design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Independent analysis of offshore and subsea structures (jackets & topsides)
- Prepare bids in response to tenders

Candidates will be a Chartered Engineer holding a good degree in Structural or Civil engineering and have substantial experience covering offshore and subsea jacket and topside analysis, design and fabrication. You will also have an in-depth understanding of design codes and their development.

Rates for this position are negotiable depending on experience.
