Senior Structural Engineer

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Our client requires a Structural Engineer to be based in Aberdeen as part of an ongoing contract. In order to be considered for this role you will have sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and knowledge and practical application of Greenfield and Brownfield topside modifications, STADD Analysis package and preferably an awareness of the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. You will also have a minimum HNC/HND in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

The main duties of this role will include:

-Executing engineering activities under the guidance of the Lead/Senior Engineer
-Ensuring that work complies with the relevant procedures
-Providing technical assistance to discipline assigned staff as required
-Ensuring assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
-Preparing estimates and assisting in the review of proposed schedules
-Participating as necessary in discussion with the client and visit jobsites when necessary
