Senior Structural Designer Job

SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNER NEEDED for a CONTRACT opportunity that has the probability of going direct with Yoh's client located in BAYTOWN, TX. This position is located at a client site large industrial chemical facility (tobacco and smoke free).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Produce design drawings for concrete and steel structures such as footings, caissons, grade beams, columns, base plates, anchor bolts, beams, vertical and horizontal bracing for Industrial facilities.
- Must be able to read and understand scopes of work, estimates, and schedules.
- Will be working in a functioning chemical manufacturing plant.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ten to twenty (10-20) years experience with ten (10) years in detailed design of Industrial processing facilities or the like.
- Working knowledge of PDS and MicroStation.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D design.
- Ability to layout building components for steel and concrete.
- Must be able to work with little if any supervision.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Works well with structural engineers, clients, and other disciplines to obtain needed information.
- Must have the ability to perform field walk downs in the plant.
