Senior Stress Engineer - Ansys

I am currently seeking an experienced Senior Stress Engineer to work with my client based in the Huddersfield area to start in early January.

Some key information regarding the position is as follows:

The Company:
My client specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke Gearboxes and rotative equipment for the Nuclear, Defence and heavy industrial industries.

The Project:
This project directly relates to an propulsion/gearbox system for next generation defence submarines. Therefore, candidates MUST be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance to SC level. Current clearance is not required!

Role & Required Experience
Manage Analysis tasks (FEA, System Analysis, Rotatitve) as required to support projects
I am ideally seeking candidate with working knowledge of ANSYS, FEA and hand calcs
I am also ideally seeking candidates with previous experience of Gears and/or rotative equipment or similar.
Knowledge of structural analysis techniques, including fatigue analysis to the level required for component certification by external bodies.
