Senior Strategy and Policy Analyst

Senior Strategy and Policy Analyst required to join this reputable government organisation in Sydney's CBD.

Your duties:

- Support the Strategy and Policy Manager in achieving the work stream's deliverables.
- Specifically responsible for business functions, processes and policy related deliverables (in conjunction with Business Stakeholder Readiness).
- Provide strategic decision-making and planning support through policy, customer, operational and financial analysis.
- Support achievement of work-stream deliverables through organising meetings/workshops as necessary, developing options papers, reports and presentations, in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist the Strategy and Policy Manager in planning, prioritising and scheduling of workstream deliverables and work packages.

To be successful you will have the following:

- 7 + years in a similar role.
- Post Graduate degree in a relevant discipline will be highly regarded. Undergraduate degree mandatory. Academic transcripts to be provided.
- Experience in design and development of complex data models eg. financial and or cost/benefits analysis.
- Stakeholder management across multiple organizations, particularly in the context of organizational change.
- Identification, development and documentation of business policies.
- Strategic decision support through policy, business impact and financial analysis.
- Effective business documentation, such as reports, briefings, presentations and options papers.
- Effective verbal communications skills, particularly in the context of stakeholder engagement and consultation, with the ability to convey complex concepts succinctly.
