Senior Storage Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Storage Engineer to join the Storage Services team of a large trans-national corporation. The team are responsible for deployment, standardization and support of the storage environment across Europe and Asia.
The position is an excellent opportunity in terms of career progression and will not be open for long. Located in the north of Belgium, strong Dutch language skills are preferred.
Development tools and platforms:
SAN environment based on Brocade technology (DCX, 48K & smaller models)
Disk Arrays (HP stack, Netapp stack, Ctera)
Command View XP, CVAE, Performance Advisor, Command View EVA, Brocade tools BNA, Raid Manager
HPUX, Linux, Windows,
Profile requirements:
Excellent knowledge of Storage Arrays, SAN and NAS and being able to deploy, manage and troubleshoot these environments on a daily base.
Excellent knowledge of common storage provisioning tasks and concepts (Zoning, LUN masking, mapping), on previous mentioned systems
Solve performance issues, performance monitoring, planning and tuning.
In depth knowledge of integration of SAN components into OS (UNIX, VMware, Linux, Windows) is a plus
