Senior Storage Engineer

A leading international Insurance firm based in centralBostonurgently requires a Senior Storage Engineer to lead the maintenance of relevant technologies focused on Storage Management particularly with Block storage in EMC and VMWare. The role will take ownership of this area within the infrastructure environment and will contribute towards strategy proposals and improving overall performance.

Key Skills:

EMC Control Centre, EMC Storage Equipment: Clariion, Celerra, Centera

Good VMWare Experience

Netbackup

SAN

Cisco MDS

Knowledge of Windows or Linux/ Unix operating systems

Experience in Large server environments

The role will involve making recommendations to improve reliability, scalability, performance and security based on analysis of the storage environment. The ability to be able to articulate and present recommendations and solutions to senior management is a must.
