Senior Storage Administrator

One of our key clients is currently seeking a Senior Storage Administrator for an initial 6 month contract.

The ideal candidate will administer, monitor and support a large storage environment comprising various storage technologies.

Requirements:

- Providing administration and maintenance functions for the storage infrastructure environment, including storage provisioning, installation, configuration and support.
- Maintaining proper release levels of firmware/software products.
- Performing technology refresh and data migration as needed.
- Monitoring and trouble-shooting storage issues.
- Coordinating with vendors on issues with software, hardware, or the interaction between the two.
- Responding to and resolving performance issues.
- Maintaining documentation & configuration diagrams.
- Performing other related duties as required
- Proven experience with EMC VNX array support & IBM XIV array support
- Excellent communication skills written & verbal
