Senior Stock Borrowing & Lending Business Analyst

The core accountabilities are:

- Liaison with business management and users, Change Analysts, BA's, testers, programmers and Vendors in order to gather a full set of business and functional requirements
- Independently managing assigned project deliverables against project plans
- Capture of software delivery artefacts and all relevant documentation
- Ensuring strategic principles are adhered to - rationalising business process (globally) and alignment to Equity Operation's target operating model
- Designing and overseeing execution of the test plans
- Organising requirements gathering sessions/workshops where required
- Progress and status reporting for owned work streams

Essential credentials:

- Proven ability to deliver in Matrix management environment without direct resource ownership
- Experience in dealing with senior level FO & infrastructure stakeholders and in building strong relationships at all levels
- Experience in working effectively across regions (London, New York, Hong Kong) highly desirable
- Strong Business analyst skills with a structured approach
- Stock Loan knowledge essential
- Tri-Party, Repo, SWIFT, Crest, ALD, Equilend, Auto Borrow and Loanet functional knowledge all desirable.
- Strong knowledge of investment banking functions, minimum 5+ years business analysis in equity finance business.
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes and functional, non-functional requirements
- End to end experience of the project life cycle
- Proven experience interacting directly with end users
- Results orientated with good communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to research information and analyse data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations and courses of action
- Relationship management (both internal and external) and networking skills. 
- Excellent 360 degree influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Positive can do' attitude.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple work threads at one time
