Salary upto £28,000 pro rata

An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, self motivated Senior / Staff Nurse in Birmingham at a privately owned Renal Dialysis Clinic, to provide quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis.

You must be able to planning and delivering patient care. Ensuring adherence to operating policies and procedures, NMC professional codes of conduct and National Care Standards Commission requirements, and all legal requirements. To assessing, plan, implement and evaluating patient care programmes. Liaising with Consultants/multidisciplinary teams from referring centres. Participating in staff and patient scheduling through active participation at clinical level. Reports on staff performance. Supervising patient care, vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment of all patient treatments, transcription of al consultant's orders, drawing and documentation of all ordered laboratory work. Informing Clinic Manager of all incidents, conditions, problems, counselling and the necessity for further counselling as it relates to staff, patient care and clinic management. Preparing and maintaining dialysis machines and systems according to company policy: rinse procedure, maintain dialyser records, prepare dialysis water treatment system for use according to established procedure and understand the technical operations to resolve minor problems independently.

NMC Registered.
At least two year's experience in Haemodialysis would be an advantage.
