Senior SQL Developer

For an international client in the Lake Geneva region we are looking for a:

SENIOR SQL DEVELOPER

Candidates are expected to have at least 5 years hands-on SQL development experience in large scale environment with as well good Cube development (MDX) Knowledge and .NET knowledge. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot and resolve code related problems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Sustaining the solution
- Liaising with process owners to determine the functional and technical requirements of the solution
- Performing SQL development based on limited specs via Agile/Scrum methods
- Performing Technical Unit Testing, supporting Volume Stress Testing, Market Integration Test/Market Acceptance Test cycles as needed
- Performing troubleshooting and code fixes as required

Candidates must be able to demonstrate skills and experience as follows:

- Senior SQL DEVELOPER with minimum 5 years experience in full end to end cycle projects
- Strong CUBE DEVELOPMENT (MDX) skills utilising best practices and latest development standards
- .NET KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH AGILE/SCRUM METHODOLOGIES
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to assimilate information rapidly

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT FOR ONE YEAR IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED MINUTES FROM LAKE GENEVA, ON THE SWISS RIVIERA AND CLOSE TO LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
