Senior SQL DBA for Legal firm in Leeds - 40-45K + Bonus

My client are based in the legal sector and are looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join their IT team on the permanent basis. If you are looking for an exciting role with a tech-forward company, this is the job for you.

Mandatory Requirements:

- 4+ years of DBA experience building, deploying and administering SQL Server database management system
- Experience supporting a 24x7 high-transaction environment
- Experience working with the following:

o MS SQL Server's architecture
o Schema design
o Administration
o Security
o Performance monitoring and tuning
o Stored procedure design and review
o database replication and logging
- Good understanding of Transact SQL scripting language and DTS packages and SSIS
- Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle databases, as well as NOSQL database platforms a plus
- Experience with SQL Server clustered environment
- Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Third party DB Management Tools
