Senior SQL DBA - Contract Dublin
My client is well known in their respected industry they are in urgent need due to exponential growth in their business a talented and experienced SQL DBA to join them on a permanent basis.
You will be required to conduct database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, high-availability strategies with MS SQL Server 2005/2008/20/12 in a production environment. You will administer, maintain, develop and recommend policies and procedures for ensuring the performance, availability, security and integrity of the company's databases and systems.
Successful candidates will have 10+ years of Transact-SQL (T-SQL) experience in high volume transaction processing environment. You will also have Strong process orientation and Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/20/12. My client will expect Strong experience on performance tuning on MS SQL Server; experience with data integrity, data retention. It is a pre-requisite that you have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Management and SSIS tool and you must have experience with SQL clustering, SQL replication, hardware replication, and/or disaster recovery implementations.
