Job Description Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition - Finance, IT, USING A HIGH LEVEL OF AUTONOMY WITH GUIDANCE AS NEEDED):
Ensure and adhere to a consistent and effective recruitment process. Identify areas of opportunity in the process to add value, improve quality, customer service, etc.

Evaluate effectiveness of sourcing tools/plans (time to fill vs. cost to fill vs. quality of hires/applicants vs. quantity of applicants) and provide recommendations/solutions.

Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment process and assessment tools. Research alternatives and provide suggestions/alternatives.

Evaluate trends in work force populations and devise proactive pool of candidates to address work force population trends/needs.

Facilitate high quality recruiting strategy meetings (Service Level Agreements). Identify recruitment strategies and opportunities to meet short and long term business objectives. Create and execute a plan for each client area.

Interview and assess candidates (phone screens and in-person) using behavioral, competency-based interviewing techniques.

Manage relationships with identified contingent/retained agencies, when needed.

Partner with Sourcer to develop sourcing strategies (leveraging internet tools, social networking, online ads, agencies, outplacement, etc.) and maintain positive working relationships with these sources to ensure an adequate supply of talent when needed.

Partner with the hiring manager to recruit highly qualified talent in the least amount of time. Manage a requisition load of approximately twenty positions, many of which are high level, specialty positions.

Provide coaching and guidance to hiring manager in terms of: the staffing process, their interviewing skills, and candidate review meetings. Drive the process and influence outcomes.

Provide guidance to less experienced Recruiters.

Utilize assessment tools to provide overview and recommendations to hiring managers, when applicable.

VENDOR MANAGEMENT:
Accountable for communicating challenges/issues to Manager, Talent Acquisition

Liaises with outsourcing partners (when applicable) and hiring manager on job specific requirements, staffing strategy and status updates beginning with initial staffing strategy meeting through offer preparation, extension and close of job.

Partners with agencies (contingency relevant experience and/or certification in specialized HR function may be substituted for degree, when appropriate.

Minimum 9 years of HR-related experience. At least 6 years of progressive, full-cycle recruitment experience required.

Ability to build a network across industries to identify future talent.

Demonstrated experience in an environment of multiple and changing priorities.

Experience forecasting headcount needs / workforce planning.

Experience in Advanced Internet recruitment/sourcing.

Functional Assessment experience/knowledge required.

Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and federal/state legislation.

In-depth experience utilizing competency-based, behavioral interviewing experience required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.

Data management and metrics (e.g., trend analysis) experience required.

Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge manager assumptions or directly confront issues.

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Superb communication skills.

In depth experience using behavioral interviewing techniques and assessment tools and processes.

Experience using an applicant tracking system required.
