Senior Sourcing Manager

For one of our major clients in the banking sector in Zurich, we are currently looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager with extensive experience in vendor management, contract negotiation and IT outsourcing, who can engage in multiple projects for different departments within the bank. It is a 6 month contract, starting on the 17th of July 2017 and lasting until the 31st of December 2017.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Vendor organization for multiple departments
- Contract negotiation with external providers, contract optimization and change
- Contributing to the optimization of ongoing sourcing processes
- Foreseeing the risks regarding proper timing, pricing or other important issues
- Internal and external stakeholder communication and collaboration

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Higher education in Computer Science or other relevant IT degree
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in vendor management
- Experience of managing large (multi-million) managed services or IT outsourcing contracts
- Expertise in outsourcing methodologies, contracts and commercial models
- Experience in procurement and/or commercial projects is of a great advantage
- Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English and German is a must
