Senior Sourcing Manager

COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT (80%)
*Assist Head of Procurement and Vendor Management Project Lead to define and execute a sourcing/contract plan for your allocated suppliers/categories.
*Work closely with the Head of Procurement, supplier and service management colleagues and peers in the Sourcing community to ensure sourcing plans are aligned with business strategy and the wider group commercial/category strategy.
*Work closely with peers in the supplier and service management community to execute the plan.
*Undertake the novation of, amendments to or integration of agreements as appropriate
*Identify opportunities to improve commercial terms with selected suppliers
*Assist supplier and service management colleagues in identifying and driving out benefits from your suppliers.
*Lead contract negotiations and obtain the appropriate support from clients Legal team.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT (10%)
*Provide a formal handover of contracts to the designated Supplier Manager
*Feed into supplier risk management reporting requirements.
*Take responsibility for P2P processes with your suppliers including but not limited to setting up on SAP
*Ensure suppliers are added to the PSL and Master Supplier List where appropriate.
*Assist supplier managers with incident resolution especially those requiring contractual remedies or changes.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT (10%)
*Develop and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships and engagement at the appropriate level with our suppliers

Person Specification
(Personal attributes essential to performing role: eg skills, competencies, expertise, knowledge, experience.
*Graduate calibre.
*Proven track record in contract negotiation across a range of categories
*Demonstrable knowledge in contract law and contract drafting.
*Demonstrable commercial skills, knowledge and experience.
*Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong stakeholder and supplier relationships.
*Understanding of regulatory and risk management requirements preferred.
