Senior Solution Architect - Travel & Expense System

My client requires a solution architect/consultant to work on the re-engineering of their Travel & expense system.

Key duties will include:
*Managing end to end coordination of the support activities for implementation (from analyse to deployment) of the central solution and work closely with stakeholders to synchronise with the overall plan the systems changes both at a corporate level and a local level required to integrate with the central solution.
*Coordinate IT design activities of each of the local operating subsidiaries to ensure implementation of a consistent solution/architecture which facilitates further shared service penetration
*Oversee key vendors and internal delivery teams in the design and delivery or required solutions.
*Partnering with Systems Integrators and local IT teams to ensure efficient design of technologies implemented at large scale as required
*Managing Solution Scope & Design and Long term application roadmap
*Providing sourcing recommendations for software components and systems integration work
*Advising Programme Lead and central project team on matters relating to IT systems and design. e.
*Working with established team to define and deliver Support
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Strong knowledge of Travel & Expense systems.
*Expertise and experience with system integration covering all key aspects of IT (Application, Data, Test, Infrastructure, Deployment, Operations) across procure to pay services/systems.
*Proven ability to implement large scale, complex system solutions for multi-functional, multi-national organizations
*Ability to manage an international, multi-cultural and distributed team with complex reporting lines
*Strong personality not afraid to get hands dirty and challenge existing decisions.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
*Degree or equivalent in a computer science or a scientific/technical discipline
*Experience and expertise in delivering projects with integration of ERP and also end to end Travel system experience.
*5+ years' experience in delivering Projects in an international environment
