Senior Solution Architect (SAP ALM and Pharma Experience)

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in the Basel area, is looking for a SENIOR SOLUTION ARCHITECT with proven SAP ALM (APPLICATION LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT) EXPERIENCE.

This is a long-term contracting role based in Basel planned to start ASAP until end of 2018 with extension opportunities!

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

The objective of the Future ERP program is to establish a future vision and design and build a Core Template for Finance & Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality Management processes (Pharma) on SAP S/4 HANA, leveraging SAP's, industry best practices.

One of the aim of the program is to develop IT capabilities in the area of ALM and setup SAP Solman 7.2 as the ALM tool for S/4 HANA in a standard configuration.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop the roles & responsibilities (deliverables) list for program level (core, template, pilot) and (roll-out-) project level

Define the validation plan for the program level and the standard validation plan (as basis) for roll-out projects

Ensure availability of all process and standard documents required to start the next phase of the program and to build SAP Solution Manager

Review the project templates and select the ones which are relevant for the initiative.

Review and update guidance documents where needed
-

Support the discussion and decision making to ensure the necessary input is available for setting up SAP Solution Manager in a best practice way, but also adapted to the program needs

IDEAL PROFILE:

-

Recognized expert-level knowledge of relevant methodologies, technologies, languages, standards and processes with 10+ years of experience in ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) area and SAP solutions

Has 6 to 8 years project management and validation experience

Pharma industry exposure
-

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-

Can socialize a concept and gain buy-in from different stakeholder groups
-

Can navigate in a highly complex organization where roles and responsibilities sometimes overlap or are not yet full defined

Ability to articulate ideas and write down in formal documents
-

Can listen to stakeholders and quickly understand complex and abstract problems
-

Is able to create and explain pragmatic solutions which are in line with formal requirements for Validation, SOX
-

Fluent English

NICE TO HAVES:

Former experience BPM (Business Process Management) Tools
