Senior Solution Architect (Banking)

YOUR ROLE

The function belongs to the Domestic Products Services Delivery Team Cards and is based in Brussels. This Delivery Team is responsible for delivering all Card related projects (Debit, Credit, Revolving), mainly in the issuing processes. Considering the changes in the Bank Cards world, this position offers many challenges and opportunities.

STRATEGIC IT ARCHITECTURE PLANNING

- Providing input for the development of a vision on the required architecture;
- Contributing to the analysis of existing It architecture, identification of critical shortcomings and formulation of recommendations, solutions and opportunities to improve these;
- Contributing to the deployment and life cycle management of technology based on specific specialist knowledge;
- Staying abreast of new technologies;
- Contributing to constantly optimizing the balance between costs and quality.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

- Having an overview of the different stakeholders in the work scope and assisting in advising stakeholders;
- Understanding negotiation techniques and the different interests;
- Contributing to handling conflicting interests in order to achieve a good and stable result.

KNOWLEDGE PROCESSING AND SHARING

-  Understanding architectural standards and assisting in the reuse and selection of defined standards;
-  Sharing your knowledge and explaining architecture-related choices.

ARCHITECTURAL SUPPORT

- Contributing to project solutions and the development of architecture, offering architectural support to project teams;
- Issuing advice on any deviation from principles and standards.
