Senior Solution Architect

SENIOR SOLUTION ARCHITECT - SHEFFIELD

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in Sheffield as a Senior Solution Architect.

The role holder will be required to:

- The candidate will be expected to Architect and recommend solutions by way of the Clear Choice process (in the event that multiple solutions are available), document the solution and transition architectures through Architecture Definition Documents and ensure successful implementation. The candidate should also assume role of technical consultant to development.
- This role will also work closely with the Global Finance Application Functional Architect and other members of Group Architecture to ensure solutions are strategically aligned to the Group's Future State Architecture.
- Documenting solutions and architecture models through Architecture Definition Documents and other artefacts (eg Technology approvals)
- Understanding and assessing the needs of the business and recommending the most appropriate solution design through the Clear Choice/Solution Proposal process, ensuring that solution designs are strategically aligned to the Group Future State Architecture and Enterprise Function Model

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL

- Must have extensive Senior Solution Architecture experience
- At least 5 years Banking experience
- Solution Architecture experience within a large scale finance programme will be highly advantageous
- Very strong technical knowledge
