Senior Sofware Developer/Analyst - Java

Azule Staffing has an opportunity for an experienced Java Software Developer/Analyst to join our client's team onsite in their CARROLLTON, TX office. This opportunity is scheduled to start in September, 2015, and last until at least March of 2016.

We are looking for an experienced consultant who can do the following:

Conduct a technology evaluation and recommendation, mentoring developers through hands-on assistance as well as formal and informal training and some technical development. You will work with business and development team in identifying, designing, and developing technical architecture solution components.

As a technical leader, the job requires a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into workable technology solutions that scale both technically and operationally and also raise the engineering and operational standards. This position will also be responsible for application performance from performance modelling, to performance measuring/profiling, to performance tuning.

In this role, you will collaborate with key business and technical personnel to implement customer-centric solutions in support of new product development initiatives. The client utilizes Agile methods and practices, including time-boxed rapid and continuous builds, as well as a close, daily cooperation between the business people and developers in an open floor plan environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related software technology field, or demonstrated job experience equating to a degree is preferred. Plus,

8+ years of software engineering experience.

Strong programming language skill in Java, SQL, and JavaScript. C programming helpful.

Strong programming language skill in ANGULAR JS (required) and its eco system for build, deployment and testing.

Great technical and problem solving skills
-

Knowledgeable in various software design patterns and be able to apply appropriate design patterns to solve business/technical problems.
-

Proficient in RDBMS such as ORACLE AND SQL SERVER.
-

Knowledge on SPRING FRAMEWORK 3.2+, Maven/Gradle, and the JVM preferred.
-

Experience with Hibernate, jQuery, JSF, JSON, Junit, REST and XML helpful.
-

Team player who works well across different streams (Product Management, Developers, QA, Operation Team).
-

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
