Senior Software Tester
6 month contract
€350 Daily Rate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- An experienced Senior Test Engineer is required to work on customer site.
- Good Unix Skills
- Good database knowledge and SQL skills
- Knowledge of FTP
- Knowledge of Quality Centre, SOAP UI and test Scripting
- Experience working on large test and development teams: 10-20 people
- Proven Functional Test experience working on complex systems
- Produce daily updates and regular reports for the Test Lead on the progress/status of their work.
- Suggest and implemented process improvements which will be to the benefit of the project and other projects.
- Have a meticulous and thorough approach to work.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Be a self-starter.
- Have excellent communication both verbal and written.
- Have a positive attitude
- Have an ability to take ownership and drive issues
- Good communication skills - articulate and diplomatic

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- EXPERIENCE IN A MOBILE/TELCO TEST ENVIRONMENT IS ESSENTIAL
- A third level qualification in computing.
- A minimum of 5 years in a software test environment, and 3 in a senior test role.
