Your responsibilities

As Software Test Engineer you are responsible for:

Review of requirements in system and sub-system-level requirement specifications for consistency and testability and translate them into test cases. We use the Gherkin language for this

Execution of system level tests both functional and non-functional (eg reliability, performance, environmental, etc.) including design, preparation and implementation of tests

Documenting of test results in reports and registration of defects and issues into the defect tracking system

Monitoring and updating defects including defect closure

Assistance in the test estimation, planning and risk management activities

Follow up on the improvements in the profession of test engineering.

We are looking for someone with a

Bachelor/Masters degree in SW Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent with a broad technical understanding and interest

ISTQB foundation level certification

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in (networked) product development as Test Engineer

Familiarity with test strategy and test specification techniques

Experience in Test Automation Tooling

Understanding of the hardware/software development life cycle

Ability to work under pressure to meet project time lines and work according to regulatory & company requirements
