Senior Software Test Engineer

My South Dublin based client has a new requirement for a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer.

My client is just beginning an exciting new project and this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected client on a daily rate contract basis.

This is an initial 6 month contract with a strong possibility of continuous extension.

The daily rate is €300 - €340 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

- Creating test strategies, test scenarios and test cases from scratch
- Perform manual and automated testing through all phases of development
- Defect documentation and tracking
- Testing multiple product features, enhancements, bug fixes, and releases across parallel cycles
- Supporting continuous integration, continuous deployment, and process improvement
- Working proactively and effectively with onsite and remote teams

Requirements:

- Must have 5+ years commercial experience in a testing role
- Strong testing background with experience writing test plans and procedures
- Experience with test automation and defect tracking tools
- Working knowledge of SQL and .NET is advantageous
- Load and performance testing experience is desirable
