Senior Software Integration Engineer

For our client we are currently looking for a

SENIOR SOFTWARE INTEGRATION ENGINEER (M/F)

for a temporary project assignment in Zurich, Switzerland.

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6MM++

YOUR TASKS:

- Integrate the vendor based product seamlessly into the bank's rather complex IT infrastructure
- Implement automation capabilities to support automated installations and upgrades
- Work with an agile team of senior software engineers
- Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into IT specifications and architectural designs
- Manage the solution hardware inventory
- Work closely with IT architects and other IT development teams within the organisation to design solid application interfaces
- Coordinate the software development and testing with external vendors, acting as a key contact for any questions or issues which may arise
- To quality check the vendor deliverables, including test case creation, test case review, design review, code review, test execution etc.
- Support the Quality Assurance/Test cycles

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Successful track record of vendor based software integration projects
- Minimum 5 years work experience
- Proven expert knowledge of vendor software packaging for UNIX and Linux type OS
- Proven expert knowledge of automating distributed installations using industry standard tools
- Proven expert knowledge of key enterprise integration requirements (security, automation, segregation of duties, monitoring )
- Experience in technical vendor management (issue handling, collaborative solution elaboration, patch/test cycles handling)
- Thorough understanding of software development, configuration management, source code management, and software release processes
- Experience with Agile development methodology and tools
- Experience with Actimize Software would be a big plus
- Business knowledge in the area of Anti Money Laundering would be a big plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with close attention to detail
- A self-starter who is highly pro-active, committed, reliable and responsive
