POSITION TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

DURATION: 12 months

LOCATION: Poole

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This assignment will be working with one of Steria's most prestigious Clients. You will work through Steria Recruitment for Steria, the UK's leading Outsourcing and Technology Company.

This is an exclusive long term contract opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer, providing a high level of software development skill with capabilities of enhancing and maintaining Unisure 4R3 software built on Unisys EAE 3.3.

The role will be heavily involved in migrating Unisure software from Unisys EAE to Unisys Agile Business Suite and in achieving customer satisfaction criteria through working as part of a larger team.

EXPERIENCE

The Senior Software Engineer will have sound knowledge of the latest developments and future strategy for their technology area which will be Unisys EAE and Unisys Agile Business Suite, and an awareness of Unisure installations in various UK customer locations. Sound knowledge and experience of associated software engineering tools, techniques, methods within their specialist area.

Demonstrable experience of working as a Senior Software Engineer on large or complex software engineering programmes/projects on Unisure 4R3 and migration of Unisure from EAE (Linc) to Agile Business Suite (ABS).

Experience in support & maintenance of Unisure 4R3 installations will also be useful.

Technical Knowledge

- Implications of technology, environment and infrastructure between Unisys EAE and Unisys ABS
- Impact of technology on the business - on Unisure installations in the UK
