Senior Software Engineer, Teradata, Datawarehouse, SQL

My client a leading banking solutions provider are seeking to recruit a Teradata developer for a 6 month contract in Vienna.

You will bring the below skill set:

Senior Software-Engineer Teradata/DWH

Tasks and responsibilities:
* Design and implementation of advanced software solutions for the EDWH
on the Teradata platform, eg
o special x-functional (support) utilities for developers
o central EDWH functions (eg central currency conversion module)
* Writes technical documentation

Job qualifications:
* Excellent Teradata know how (V14) - eg bi-temporal, join strategies,
physical optimizations
* Excellent ETL design and implementation know how
* Excellent Teradata SQL-know how
* More than 5 years' experience within DWH area (temporal data
management, layer architecture, metadata, )
* Good knowledge of data structures, entity relationship diagrams
* Ability to work on an UNIX (Linux) environment, eg sh-scripts
* Good analytical skills (analyze specifications and translate requirements to
task specifications)
* Good knowledge of software design methods and techniques
* Acts largely self-reliant within the components he/she is responsible for
* Ability to work productively in a team
* Good communication skills
* Ability to organize him-/herself
* Excellent command of English
