Senior Software Engineer - Step Up To Architecture? Euros 60-65 p/hr
My client in Belgium is hiring within their cloud and big data divisions. They are a major name within financial services and as such a great brand to work for. They are looking for experienced software developers with either C, Java, C++ or Python AND either Big Data or Cloud exposure. We are looking for engineers who have "been around the track" and so are able to work without much need for direction. You will essentially be groomed to move in to taking on architectural responsibility from day one and so this is a fantastic opportunity to not only work in a highly challenging technical environment bus also to develop your career and experience.
We are looking for programmers who are in the top 5% and so you firstly will need to meet our programming challenge - we set the task, you chose your weapon! (whatever language you want).
We also then will be examining your level of creativity and design skills to take on the task of architecting new service offerings. Of course if you have already done architectural or design work, then you will be at an advantage.
Although this is a contract position, we are hiring as if permanent - we will give you a 12 month rolling contract and you can expect a long term engagement.
