One of our clients in Zurich is looking for a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER/JAVAEE DEVELOPER
Role description
- You will be responsible for a large JavaEE project, involving developing, maintaining and fixing bugs in the application along with quality assurance.
- You will be part of a development team, so you will be working closely with architects in order to implement solutions for application enhancements and features in a large JavaEE environment.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has experience in developing complex software applications involving new technologies, methods, concepts or approaches
- University degree in Information Technology, Engineering or similar field
- Strong Java programming skills and experience in large JavaEE-projects
- Strong knowledge of OOP and software design
- Strong knowledge of SQL and JPA
- Strong knowledge of best-practices in a Java development environment
- Excellent problem solving capability and communication skills
- Understanding of the financial industry and knowledge of Agile Development practices
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and ability to understand new technologies quickly
- Team-oriented, flexible, analytical, quality-oriented and reliable personality
