I am currently working with one of the world's leading E-commerce companies, based in Amsterdam.
They have asked me to find a senior engineer to play a leading role in an experienced development team that gets involved in understanding and solving tough problems in complex distributed systems, designing and implementing scalable server back-ends and serving customers all over the world. The team is about to embark on an exciting new project to build a global messaging application and need contract resource to bolster the team.
The role requires a strong Java background, knowledge of distributed systems, as well as a passion for simplicity and problem solving.
Long-term contract - 12 months
