Senior Software Engineer - Capital Markets

I'm currently representing a niche capital markets business in their search for a Senior Software Engineer.

This company provides market information and data to the largest financial institutions globally which helps them make vital trading decisions.

They're regarded as the "authorities" in regards to the reporting of this financial instrument.

The role will focus on further developing a cutting edge bond market news, analytics and data platform that pushes real-time news and data onto trading floors.

Your mission will be to re-engineer this platform so that it's scalable for the next 10-20 years.

This role for someone very keen and enthusiastic to bring their ideas and creative think into a live environment. The role reports directly to the CEO thus there's no red-tape and decision can be implemented quickly.

You will be required to meet with end users (Traders) take their ideas and implement them.

Requirements:

-Web development experience (using PHP)
- Front End development experience (Excellent Javascript, html and css)
- MySql. MSSQL
- MongoDB experience would be a major advantage.
- Database replication
- JSON and Apache.
- RESTful web services
- Experience with working with cloud systems (Rackspace or other providers)
