Senior Software Engineer/Aberdeen/Oil and Gas

Are you looking for a new opportunity in the Oil and Gas industry? I am currently looking for a Software Engineer to join a large and expanding Subsea Service Company inAberdeen. Your main objective will be to assume technical responsibility for the design and the implementation of software solutions for work packages and carry out maintenance and investigation activities at Aberdeen or offshore/ offsite as required. Main responsibilities: * Manage the development, implementation, test and maintenance of software work * Ensure allocated work scopes are produced within budget and timescale * Monitor allocated work scopes and report current status * Assist leader/ supervisor to ensure members work together as a team The Person: * Degree or HNC/HND * Experience with development and programming of PLC and SCADA system * Experience with programming languages C, C++, Assembler * Relevant software Engineering experience preferably within the oil and gas industry This is an urgent position.
